After completing law school, Magi decided to meld her artistic and entrepreneurial spirit with her formal training, creating a company dedicated to empowering and educating like-minded business owners.
The Artists’ Lawyer — an online shop filled with tools, templates, and contracts that aid creative business owners — is a combined result of Magi’s career as a photographer, an entrepreneur, and an attorney. Established with the mission of providing honest and essential guidance for founders, The Artists’ Lawyer is the business resource the creative industry was missing.

Magi is a multi-hyphenate photographer, lawyer, and founder, with a diverse portfolio of successful brands. Her career journey has taken her from photographing professional surfers in some of the world's most epic waves to earning a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law. In addition to photographing luxury weddings, overseeing a large associate studio of photographers, and managing a contract template and resource digital shop, Magi also provides legal counsel to some of the industry's leading artists and entrepreneurs through her law firm. While not working, Magi can be found enjoying an acai bowl, playing with her dog Arti on the beach, or watching SVU reruns in her cozy beach bungalow with her husband, Scott. Recently, she added a new title to her already impressive list of achievements - motherhood - with the birth of her daughter, Scottie June.
Magi is an artist, storyteller, traveler, free-spirit, adventurer, consciously-living animal lover, enthusiastic friend and hugger, and always filled with wonder. Her journey has taken her from photographing professional surfers while swimming in some of the world's most epic waves to receiving a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law and marrying my hunky college sweetheart. It is a combination of these elements – her adventurous spirit, her attention to detail and professionalism, and her heart for truly, madly in love couples – that allows her to tell each love story, capturing the true beauty and genuine, un-staged moments of the wedding day. With over a decade of experience and an affinity for love stories, she's crafted a trustworthy, creative team of soulful storytellers that photograph weddings around the globe. Magdalena specializes in natural, timeless portraiture through both digital and film mediums and is available to serve a limited number of wedding clients each year.
Magi is a lawyer and educator for artists and creative entrepreneurs. Her journey has taken her from photographing professional surfers while swimming in some of the world's most epic waves to receiving a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law. Magi founded Magdalena Studios, a boutique photography studio, which quickly grew, alongside her law career, to serve over 80 couples per year. Magi now oversees the wedding photography studio and team of associates, photographs a limited number of luxury and destination weddings per year, and provides legal counsel to creative business owners with a specialization in contracts, trademarks, copyright, and small business law.
